Kind of Mexico

Our next trip was to Puerto Galera, where we got to eat our first Mexican meal in the Philippines! Puerto Galera is on Mindoro Island

At every site we collect biomass; or large bags of sea grass. Then we get to sort it on the boat...to be weighed later

We went on a dive while in Puerto Galera, and we came across a ghost net. This net was at 42 feet in a marine protected area. We removed in and all the fish it had killed.

After we finished our first site, Angela gave us some time off, and we decided to go to a place called White Beach.

After White Beach, we went back to Puerto Galera and we finished two sites without Angela, and then two more with her overseeing.
